Utilizing high-quality BMQ iron ore with low phosphorus content enhances the overall quality of its steel. Amalgam Steel’s pellets are characterized by high porosity and uniform chemical composition, ideal for efficient DRI production. The facility emphasizes energy efficiency and meets stringent quality and environmental standards. To meet production targets, the company requires approximately 1.8 to 2.0 million tonnes of iron ore fines annually, which it sources through a robust supply chain.
