Welspun Partners with Saudi Aramco to Build LSAW Pipe manufacturing plant

Welspun Corp Ltd announced that it has entered into an agreement with Saudi Aramco to set up a Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) pipe manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia. The company stated that the facility, situated in Dammam 3rd Industrial City, will have an annual output capacity of 350,000 MT and is anticipated to begin operations by mid-2026.

Welspun Corp has been a consistent collaborator with Saudi Aramco for almost twenty years and plays a role in multiple oil and gas pipeline initiatives in the Kingdom.

The newly constructed facility will feature extensive capabilities to meet future line pipe needs for Saudi Aramco's current and forthcoming projects, covering the transportation of oil, gas, hydrogen, and CCUS initiatives, according to the statement.
