Jakson Engineers has provided Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) with 100 megawatts (MW) of solar PV modules at the 2,375 MW Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat, being the first company to complete its contracted capacity of 190,000 units of the next generation of PERC (Helia Plus) bifacial solar panels. These high-efficiency panels capture sunlight on both sides to yield additional electricity and improved performance.

Anurag Garg, CEO Jakson Solar Modules and Cells, said "We are proud to partner with GIPCL on this project. Our team demonstrated exceptional execution, setting new benchmarks for efficiency and dependability".

Jakson Engineers announced in October that it would like to invest in setting up a 2.5-gigawatt solar cell manufacturing plant in the Union Territory of Ladakh with an estimated outlay of around Rs 2000 crore (around $215.9 million). The company also plans to expand its solar module manufacturing capacity from 1.2 to 2 GW. The company says this investment increase would help give a big boost to domestic manufacturing capacities, help meet the renewable energy targets of the nation, and provide an extremely sound position to Jakson.

Jakson Engineers has emerged as one of the leading providers of energy and engineering solutions, striving to better itself at generations and distribution in renewable energy. It is recognized for the innovative, or sustainable solutions offered across diverse verticals.

GIPCL is a prominent player in Gujarat's energy sector and is commingling with renewable energy projects. The Jacobs' 100 megawatts of solar PV modules from Jakson would enhance clean energy output in India through an expedited transition.
