Infineon & ARAI to advance automotive semiconductor solutions

Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific and the Automotive Research Association of India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on developing advanced semiconductor technologies for the Indian automotive sector. The focus is to jointly develop EV inverters and vehicle control units for electric vehicles in India. The visible technologies for these drivetrains will enable both organizations to promote such technologies for acceptance by the Indian automotive OEMs.

Apart from drivetrain technologies, the collaboration will bring joint development of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Automated Driving solutions: Automated Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, etc.

We are excited to work with ARAI to introduce innovative semiconductor solutions to the Indian automotive market,” said Chua Chee Seong, President and Managing Director of Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific. “This partnership combines Infineon’s technological capabilities with ARAI’s deep understanding of the local market, accelerating innovation and improving the efficiency of automotive semiconductor solutions in India.”
