
India-Japan Strengthen Ties for Global Manufacturing Growth
PM Narendra Modi entertained a business delegation from Japan To increase economic cooperation and low-cost, high-quality manufacturing in India, which was led by Tatsuo Yasunaga. The core focus of the discussion was the deepening of strategic relations between Japan and India.
On Wednesday afternoon, PM Modi met up with a Japanese business delegation in an attempt to strengthen Japan's partnership with India. The meeting also tackled the issue of low-cost, high-quality, manufacturing in collaboration with Japan. Helping businesses expand into Africa was also put on the agenda. Tatsuo Yasunaga, chairing the Japanese delegation from JIBCC, made it clear they were ready to advance initiatives branding ‘Make in India, Make for the World’.
The Japanese delegation’s expansion endeavors delighted Modi and he called for increased commitment to skill development. This reinforced Indian partnership will be further pronounced on March 6, 2025, during the 48th Joint meeting of JIBCC with its Indian counterpart to be held in New Delhi.
India and Japan have shared a long-standing relationship built on mutual trust and economic cooperation. As both nations work towards strengthening their ties, the latest engagement between Modi and the Japanese delegation signals a promising future for trade, investment, and industrial growth, and global market expansion will not only benefit both countries but also contribute to a more dynamic and interconnected global economy.
