India's Electrical Sector to Hit USD 130B with USD 25B Exports by 2030
The electrical and electronics sector in India is set to expand to a USD 130 billion market with exports reaching USD 25 billion by 2030. Currently, the size of the industry in India stands at USD 70 billion, with exports totaling USD 12 billion.
The Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA) organized a roadshow in Kolkata today in preparation for ELECRAMA 2025. Approximately 41 participants from West Bengal are expected to attend the event. This forthcoming edition is expected to feature over 1,100 exhibitors, upwards of 15,000 B2B meetings, over 600 hosted buyers from 80 nations, and more than 10 country pavilions showcased.
Gandotra, Chairman of ELECRAMA 2025, emphasized the importance of West Bengal’s participation in the exhibition: “The growing membership in West Bengal reflects the state’s critical role in driving India’s electrical and allied electronics sector. With 41 members already confirmed for ELECRAMA 2025, we expect significant contributions from the state’s manufacturers, suppliers, and innovators.”
ELECRAMA 2025, the biggest electrical exhibition globally, is scheduled for February 22 to 26, 2025, in Greater Noida. A premier exhibition by the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), in partnership with the Union Ministry of Heavy Industries, will unite global industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers. The event will include exhibitions, technology displays, networking chances, and activities that will act as a launchpad for the Indian electrical sector.
