India is presently the third-largest producer of salt, indicating its strong market opportunities. Goyal Salt's persistent emphasis on boosting production capacity, broadening its product range, and enhancing its market standing underscores its growth strategy within India's competitive salt sector.

Goyal Salt Limited, an important FMCG company in India's salt sector, is allocating Rs 80 crore to set up a major salt production plant in Gandhidham, which is recognized for its salt manufacturing. The newly constructed facility, covering 12 acres, is set to have a production capacity of 4,50,000 MT and is presently in the midst of trial operations. It is anticipated to be functional by January 2025. With this progress, Goyal Salt is set to emerge as the leading natural salt manufacturer in India.

Besides the new facility in Gandhidham, the company has a unit in Nawa City that spans 15 acres. This facility is focused on salt refining, storage of raw salt, and packaging of refined salt, boasting an annual capacity of 2,10,000 MT.

Goyal Salt produces various types of industrial and edible salts, such as Triple Refined Free Flow Iodized Salt, Industrial Salt, Double Fortified Salt, and Triple Refined Half Dry Salt. The firm has built a robust presence throughout North India, encompassing Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. It seeks to rank among India's leading three salt brands by broadening its presence in Western states such as Maharashtra and Gujarat.
