Henkel India has accomplished the expansion of its manufacturing plant in Kurkumbh, Maharashtra, near Pune. The Kurkumbh site, which was founded in 2020, caters to the increasing need in Indian industries for cutting-edge adhesive, sealant, and surface treatment products.

Mark Dorn, Executive Vice President of Henkel Adhesive Technologies, along with other senior management members, officially inaugurated the new Loctite plant, named after Henkel's well-known brand.

After joining the Indian market in 1996, Henkel Adhesive Technologies has played a key role in the company's growth. Henkel has strategically increased its footprint in India by continuously investing to keep up with the fast-growing market. The company currently has a strong presence in India with five manufacturing facilities, two innovation hubs, a customer experience center, a packaging academy, and an application center for the footwear sector.

The new Loctite factory at the Kurkumbh location highlights Henkel's dedication to promoting growth in the Indian market. The plant's goal is to decrease dependence on imports and better cater to Indian businesses by focusing on its product range within the local market. It will assist in closing the supply-demand disparity in high-performance adhesive solutions, especially in manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and automotive components industries. Henkel Adhesive Technologies is in a good position to meet the increasing demand in these rapidly changing market segments.
