HDFC Unveils Manufacturing Accelerator with Bharat Startup Challenge

HDFC, in collaboration with Startup India’s Bharat Startup Grand Challenge, has initiated the Manufacturing Accelerator Program aimed at promoting innovation and boosting growth in India's manufacturing industry. The initiative aims to assist startups tackling essential manufacturing issues with innovative solutions. Submissions for participation are accepted until 15 February. The Manufacturing Accelerator Program is a collaborative effort between the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), HDFC Bank, and riidl Somaiya Vidyavihar University.

This partnership aims to utilize shared resources, knowledge, and market opportunities to create a flourishing ecosystem that promotes innovation, scalability, and international competitiveness in India's manufacturing industry. The initiative supports India’s goal of becoming a worldwide manufacturing center by enabling startups to create advanced manufacturing technologies, increase productivity, and encourage sustainable practices.

HDFC Bank Parivartan, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) division, has continually focused on promoting sustainable and inclusive development in crucial sectors like financial inclusion, education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability. The Manufacturing Accelerator Program is a continuation of this initiative, designed to enable Indian startups to create a manufacturing ecosystem that is competitive on a global scale.
