GenX PV to establish New Aluminium Frame Manufacturing Plant in Raipur

GenX PV India, known for its split junction box production with integrated diodes, has revealed intentions to set up a comprehensive aluminium frame manufacturing unit in Raipur by the beginning of next year. The plant will manufacture 18,000 metric tons of aluminum each year, serving Indian solar panel producers and decreasing dependence on imports from China. This establishment will offer comprehensive services, such as extrusion, anodizing, and cutting, improving GenX PV's capacity to produce aluminum frames internally.

The announcement was made while participating in the Renewable Energy India Expo 2024 (Oct 3-5, India Expo Center, Greater Noida, Hall 12, Booth No. R883 is the code used to identify this specific item. The addition of the Raipur plant, combined with the integration of the junction box production, will assist GENX PV in strengthening its role as a one-stop solution for solar panel components. The company plans to boost its Bangalore manufacturing capacity of junction boxes to 50 GW by FY25, up from the current 20 GW.

Moreover, GenX PV is expected to see a significant increase in revenue, moving from INR 200 crores in FY24 to INR 900 crores in FY25. The company stays dedicated to research and development, making cutting-edge, space-saving, and effective solar solutions, guaranteeing high-quality with thorough testing and innovative technology incorporation.
