Birla Opus Paints Eyes ₹10,000 Cr, Redefining Market Goals

Birla Opus Paints, self-proclaimed as the second biggest player in decorative paints in terms of capacity, targets to achieve a revenue of Rs 10,000 crores within the first three years of its establishment. According to its growth strategy, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of Aditya Birla Group, showed belief in the company's development.

The company revealed the establishment of its fourth manufacturing facility in Chamarajnagar, Mysore. According to a statement from Birla Opus Paints, the company's total production capacity has increased to 866 MLPA with the addition of a new facility that adds 230 million litres per annum (MLPA).

“The business is progressing in line with the plan with an impactful journey so far and is on track to hit the revenue target of Rs 10,000 crore within the first three years of full-scale operations,” Birla said.

He also emphasized that the Chamarajnagar plant would specifically serve the growing demand in the southern region, in accordance with the company's growth strategy.

“To cater specifically to the growing needs of the southern region, our fourth state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chamarajnagar supports our growth strategy. This new facility will help us provide quality products and services to customers with increased responsiveness, underscoring our unwavering commitment to becoming a leader in the decorative paint industry,"
