AVPL International's newest production plant is expected to create job openings for approximately 10,000 young people, with 200 of them being employees working directly for the company. AVPL International announced on Tuesday their plan to establish a drone production plant in Bihar, investing Rs 15 crore in the project. In a statement, the company announced that the upcoming facility will be located in the Bihta Industrial Area and will cover 16,000 sq ft, with the ability to manufacture 24,000 drones per year.

"This project is more than just a manufacturing facility. It's a step towards empowering local communities, capacity building and fostering drone entrepreneurship," AVPL International Founder and Managing Director Preet Sandhuu said in a statement.

In 2024, the estimated value of the worldwide commercial drone market was USD 30.02 billion and is projected to increase by 10.6% annually from 2025 to 2030. The growing use of drones in different industry sectors is said to be the reason behind the market's expansion.

Multiple drone producers are constantly examining, creating, and enhancing products for different industries utilized in a variety of ways, such as filming and responding to emergencies. Moreover, the incorporation of advanced technologies into commercial drones for improved solutions is creating new avenues for growth in the commercial drone market.

Established in 2016, AVPL International has grown its presence to encompass more than 12 states and set up more than 70 skill and incubation hubs.
