
Air Liquide India Establishes Manufacturing unit in Mathura
Air Liquide India declared that it had invested Rs 350 crore to establish a manufacturing operation in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, with the goal of expanding its business. This air separation unit, it stated, is dedicated to healthcare and industrial commercial activities in Kosi, Mathura.
It can produce more than 300 tons of liquid oxygen and medical oxygen every day, as well as 45 tonnes of liquid nitrogen and 12 tonnes of liquid argon, according to a company release. The unit would supply industrial gases to the Delhi Capital Territory, Western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
The medical quality oxygen produced in this plant will be delivered to hospitals. It stated that the new unit will run entirely on renewable energy by 2030.
"Air Liquide has invested around Rs 350 crore to build this state-of-the-art air separation plant," it said in a statement.
Air Liquide India is a major provider of industrial gases to hospitals and industries in India, with production facilities in the country's north and west.
Air Liquide India Managing Director Benoit Renard said, "This new plant is a key step in our expansion, fostering growth in both industrial and healthcare sectors throughout the region".
